We are able to provide long term and ad-hoc contracts for the support of FPSO’s, FSO’s and tanker loading and offloading operations. BPM provides contract marine terminal pilots and Mooring/Loading Masters to cover transhipment operations. By utilising the vast experience of our highly qualified and experienced Mooring Masters we are able to deliver safe high-quality operations in any environment. We can structure contracts to suit the needs of our client’s requirement, depending on the type and frequency of berthing, and also the size of vessels involved.

All our Mooring/Loading Masters conform to our rigorous Standards of Care. The below constitutes the criteria that is applied before assigning someone to your transhipment operation:

Certification to STCW 95 11/2 or equivalent
Dangerous Cargo Endorsements (DCE) or documented training at a tanker training course
Valid Medical Certification to UKOOA
OPITO approved HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training)
Experience in a senior position as deck officer on board tankers
Command Experience
Proven ability in Ship Manoeuvring
Valid GMDSS certificate
Terminal specific training as requested by the client

All Mooring Masters will observe and undergo supervised operations and once deemed sufficiently prepared will undergo a minimum of 2 evaluations by our in-house Marine Manager.
