BPM offer a complete turnkey service to allow repair or replacement of both tunnel and hull mounted thrusters on vessels and platforms world-wide, via the One Ocean™ network. Even at short notice we are able to provide a fast and efficient repair capability, avoiding costly dry dock alternatives.
Our team is able to manage all phases of the project from preparation, logistics, acceptance and operational execution on behalf of customers, thus avoiding costly dry docking or off-hire periods to provide a truly turnkey waterborne solution. Each task is also fully documented with OEM approved procedures.
With our team of engineers and naval architects, we are able to perform all aspects of through life maintenance, utilising in water solutions or our unique cofferdam technology, to provide a safe and dry environment within the thruster tunnel itself. This controlled technical solution allows our personnel to carry out an afloat exchange or installation of the gear box and thruster blades and avoids the risk of possible seawater contamination within the ships oil propulsion system.
